[They] actively promote policies that advance racial equity."
We are participating in their CHAMPION network program which" equips out of school out of work youth (ages 16-24) in NYC with the tools to navigate their career journey through training, credentialing and internship opportunities supported by career coaching.
CHAMPION members will complete basic skills, work readiness training and earn a credential in the field of transportation (CDL-Class C), office technology (Microsoft Office Specialist) or culinary service (ServSafe® Food Handlers Certification/ DOH Food Protection Certificate) and be assisted with job placement. Some CHAMPION Members may qualify for a 150-hour paid internship."
We are grateful to have the opportunity to take part of this program and would love to welcome our two newest interns from the CHAMPION Network: Elianni and Tiasha. We wish you the best of luck with your first rotation and will be right by your side to guide, mentor and lead you. We look forward to being a part of your growth and development.
Congratulations on taking this on, welcome to the team!

St Joseph College
Virtual Nursing Job Fair
|
|
Charlena, our Clinical Quality Manager and Saskia, our Account Manager and Marketer presented at a virtual job fair hosted by St Joseph College. It was hosted virtually due to COVID. They joined the fair from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The presentations and attendees were scheduled ahead of time.
They got to represent Helping U, inform the students of who we are, what we offer and how they can become a part of the team. As per Charlena experience: "The virtual fair experience was unique and exciting. Being able to choose from so many colleges and universities was refreshing. The unfortunate side was that only one student attended the workshop, but I would participate again, hoping for better results."
We look forward to attending more virtual and in-person job fairs while respecting COVID safety measures and protocols.
